ABOUT THE EVENT
This year, the Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) Awards commemorates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of honouring excellence and innovation within the ground engineering industry.
Taking place on Friday 4th December from 18:30 at the 5-star Hilton Bankside London hotel, this milestone event will bring together the industry’s brightest talent to celebrate ten years of outstanding achievements by individuals and companies alike.
We are delighted to announce that German comedian, Henning Wehn will co-host this anniversary celebration alongside FPS incoming Chair, Stuart Norman, guiding guests through what promises to be a memorable evening of inspiration and celebration.
The event will bring together over 300 key figures in the ground engineering industry along with innovators and rising stars for an exciting evening of recognition, networking, and celebration.
On the night, guests are invited to indulge in a sparking drinks and canapé reception before enjoying a sumptuous three course meal, with wine and petite fours, in the hotel’s grand ballroom. Guests will then enjoy a comedy routine from Henning, before the prestigious awards ceremony takes centre stage.
The celebrations will continue into the night with an exclusive After Party, reserved exclusively for guests of the Awards complete with drinks and nibbles. This soiree will give guests a chance to network with friends and colleagues whilst celebrating the rest of the evening in style with live musical entertainment.

All entries will be judged by our panel of industry experts; Claire Smith (Managing Editor (UK & Europe) at Mott MacDonald), Stuart Hardy (Associate Director at Arup), Yvonne Ainsworth (Principal Associate with at Hawkins & Associates and Bob Thompson (Managing Director at Bob Thompson FICE).

ATTEND THE AWARDS
Tickets for this years event include a sparking drinks and canapé reception and three course meal in the hotel’s breathtaking ballroom. The event will be hosted by FPS Incoming Chair, Stuart Norman alongside Henning Wehn, who will perform a comedy routine for guests.
After the ceremony, guests are invited to stay for an exclusive After Party where they can network with friends and colleagues. Additional catering and drinks will be served, plus there will be a DJ so guests can dance the night away.

ACCOMODATION
There are a limited number of bedrooms available at Hilton London Bankside. Details on how to book will be released shortly.
Alternatively, guests may wish to stay at one of the many neighbouring hotels nearby. These include the Premier Inn London Southwark, Holiday Inn Express London Southwark, Mercure London Bridge and the CitizenM London Bankside.

Speakers
Comedian Henning Wehn is the (unofficial) German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Initially intending to stay for just a year in Britain, Henning claims to have been seduced by the country’s weather, cuisine and hospitality. He’s now a TV and radio regular, having appeared on shows including Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and QI, as well as Radio 4’s The Unbelievable Truth and 5Live’s Fighting Talk. He has also presented Channel 4’s An Immigrant’s Guide to Britain, and performed standup on Newsnight as a contribution to the EU debate.
