It’ll be summer before you know it, and that means it is time to mark your diary with this year’s Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS) Summer Ball, which will take the theme of the “Enchanted Garden”.
The Ball is being held Saturday 8th June at Hilton Syon Park, which is nestled on the edge of the 200-acre Syon House Estate in Brentford. It combines tradition with modern amenities and unique décor, allowing guests to unwind in their elegant room, whilst rejuvenating with a spa treatment and fine dining in its renowned restaurant. From its Tudor origins to the present, the estate designed by ‘Capability’ Brown, continues to fascinate.
The evening commences at 6.30pm, with a cocktail drinks’ reception with celebrity magician Robert Fox returning to perform close-up magic. This is followed by a delicious banqueting meal, with a post-meal dinner stage show. With the Enchanted Garden theme, we also have a series of stalls including a coconut shy, bottle ring toss, and a magic mirror for a truly ‘enchanting’ experience.
This year’s chosen charity is again WellChild, the national UK children’s charity which helps to get seriously ill children and young people out of hospital and home to their families. A very worthwhile cause, so please dig deep in those pockets when it comes to the charity raffle. There will also be a post-dinner dance too. Tickets are priced at £105, with tables able to seat up to 12 people.
